PROS:
  • Dark green bushy "Foxtail" foliage
  • Self cleaning
  • Pest/disease resistant
  • Fast-grower
  • Somewhat salt tolerant
CONS:
  • Do best with moderate water/ fertilizer
  • Can be "floppy". While this doesn't hurt the palm, it is unattractive
  • Produce prodigious amounts of seeds
